Came in about a half hour before closing and they still joyfully accepted us. Great food and great prices. Breakfast is still served till closing. This place may not look like much from the outside but the inside is great. Don't judge a book by the cover. Such good food I forgot to take a picture of my main plate. (Eggs, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes.)

My travel partner wanted the Route 66 diner experience so we stopped here for brunch after experiencing a little trouble finding a diner in other nearby counties that was open for breakfast. The wait staff was very pleasant; they came to chat with us since it was obvious we were not locals. I ordered a Southwest breakfast dish that I had never heard of before and found the spice combination amazing. Neither of us have had fluffy and done-right biscuits and gravy in decades and savored every bite. The hash browns were light & crispy. The coffee cup was always full and hot. The rail way decor was authentic along with enough toy trains to make any 5 year old boy happy. The locals filled the place up at lunch time and it was waiting room only! So glad I asked for a blueberry cobbler to go - it was absolutely delicious and the crust remained crispy at the end of a long day when we camped in Texas.

Had breakfast here during a trip through Gallup in September 2025. The Santa Fe Breakfast Burrito was Outstanding and Delicious. If you like trains, this place is located near the railroad tracks and you can watch numerous freight trains go by while you eat. Highly Recommend!!

It's a true classic diner on Route 66. And for that it is 5 stars. The exterior says "we've been abandoned for 10 years" but fear not, the inside is charming. The menu is enormous and the food was good. Classic diner food with some southwest options.

Really cute exterior! The service was great. Fun atmosphere inside. The salsa was just as my grandma makes! The peppers are the star and not the tomatoes. But the chips were cheap Rico's chips. Huge let down. Tortillas were not fresh made either.

Pretty yummy. Stopped in for lunch during setup day for the Kicker Monster Trucks show we did over at Red Rock. Got the daily special, which I think was the ½lb Railroader (or something like that), it was good. I debated on the liver & onions and honestly wish I would've tried them, because I love liver & onions and if a cafe or diner makes good liver & onions, then everything else on the menu is gonna be beyond delicious!

Don't judge a book by its cover. Fast, friendly service. Good food. Reasonable prices. I had the breakfast enchiladas (Christmas - both were tasty but the green was hotter). Couldn't eat it all.

Don’t miss this stop when you’re in Gallup. Great cafe. Super friendly staff, even the cooks will come out and shoot the breeze. Burgers are cooked perfect and the melted cheese….delicious. The table salsa will sneak up on you but good flavor.
